How reallocation works

1

Receive the relief amount

With your care level you automatically receive €131 per month under §45b SGB XI – usually with no separate application.

2

Check reallocation

From care level 2, up to 40% of unused care benefits in kind (§36) can be reallocated – since 2022 with no additional application.

3

Use more support

Depending on care level, this gives you up to around €1,051 per month for household, accompaniment and care.
